Hello! I need to buy some new sneakers as I seem to be suffering from Morton’s neuroma in my right foot. I am wondering which type of sneaker or trainer is best to use on an elliptical machine, since there is no impact felt on the machine as there is with running on a road or track. Will a walking sneaker suffice? Please factor in my toe pain caused by the neuroma as well. I’ve got a doctor’s appointment next week for the foot, but in the meantime, what type of shoes are best for using indoor elliptical equipment? Thanks for any advice!

I’d switched largely to the elliptical in recent months and while I work out hard on the machine at a high level and burn over 500 calories, according to the machine, I just don’t see the same results from running or even the exercise bike. I find myself softer in certain areas. Is it me?

How often are you supposed to work out your upperbody and your lower body. The reason I am asking is because I work out my upper body every other day, and my lower body every other day, but I use the Elliptical Training machine every day. I think since I use it monday-friday and dont give my legs any time to rest is hurting more than helping because I can barely bend my legs they are so sore.
